Psalms 103:2
"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits"

The psalmist beckoned on our soul to affectionately and gratefully praise the Lord, and forget not [one of] all His benefits.

There is tendency for us to forget what God has done in the past, despite such tendencies to following such a civilisation of forgetfulness the psalmist lends a strong voice of caution for us not to forget the benefits of God to us.

Hear this: When you forget His benefits, He forgets your needs.

Forgetfulness is an excuse when it comes to the benefits of God. The rich fool in Luke 12:17-20 "thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?"

A man who has been so blessed instead of his soul to bless the Lord he took God out of the equation completely and forgot God. For the fact that he forgot God, God visited him to demand for his soul.

This has been the testimony and report card of many people. When they are blessed they forget God and when in trouble they come to God.

Hear this: When you forget His benefits, He forgets your needs.

We pray you not be caught in such a web of forgetfulness when your blessings shows up in Jesus name. From today the grace to gratefully praise God for His benefits recieve it now in the name of Jesus. Every trace of forgetfulness in you dies now in Jesus name.

Shalom and remain blessed
