Prayer and obedience
1 John 3:22 "And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight."
Jesus said why call. Me Lord Lord and Do not do the things I say?
Hear this; obedience is fundamental to effective prayer.
Unquestionably obedience a high virtue, a soldier quality.
To obey belongs, preeminently to the soldier.
It is his first and last command, he must learn to practice it all the time, without question, uncomplainingly.
Obedience is faith in action, the outflow and true test of love. In other words it is the conserver and the life of love.
Our relationship with God is fueled and sustained by prayer and obedience. The life of obedience lifts up and sustain the hands of prayer, just like Aaron and Hur.
Obedience to God is a condition to inward satisfaction and stability "if ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat d fruit of the land"
Obedience opens you up to the Blessings.
An obedient life us a necessity to prayer.
The absence of obedience makes prayer an empty performance, a mere misnomer.
He who would pray must obey, get anything out of his prayer must be in perfect harmony with God.
Prayer put into those who sincerely prays, a spirit of obedience. For the Spirit if disobedience is not of God and belongs not to praying people
I pray for you today may the Spirit of obedience to God and his voice in the place of prayer be imparted unto you now in Jesus name. May the blessings of obedience be released to you in Jesus name. You are blessed... Good morning...
