The answer and solution to Distractions

Luke 10:42 "But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."
We live in a generation where so many things (distractions) are calling for our attention although they may be important but Jesus is saying one thing is needful.
Question is what is that needful thing?
The answer is not far from us which is "sitting at Jesus' feet" vs39. Jesus is first and foremost seeking for Relationship/intimacy and fellowship before service. There is no service that can be rendered effectively with out sitting at His feet. To sit at His feet is to be instructed, directed and empowered for service. The question we must sincerely ask ourselves today is, what category am I, Martha or Mary's Ministry?
Hear this: it is disastrous to be busy for the work of God without having time for the God of the work. It is wisdom to ensure that our relationship is intact before launching out for service. The truth is this, if our relationship with God is intact then every distractions, worries of what is done or not done must give Way.
I pray for you today may God impart upon you the hunger to always desire fellowship and intimacy with Him, grace to avoid every path of distractions that will hinder or deny you fellowship with Jesus receive it now in Jesus name. You are blessed.
