THE DIMENSIONS OF GOD'S WONDERS 2.
2 Kings 6:6 "And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim."
Once upon a time, the sons of the prophets went to cut down wood to enlarge their territory. Suddenly , their borrowed axe head fell into the water. Elisha had followed them, so he was told about the lost axe head. Elisha said where fell it? And he was shown the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
We know that human beings swim, fishes swim, frogs swim, wood and other inanimate objects float. We know that things that don't have life don't swim, But the thing that keeps me wondering is how the axe head swam? Another question is, what is the connection between the stick thrown into the water that resulted in it swimming?
This is the Mystery behind the scenario. God imparted the iron with the characteristics of a fish, God gave it a little measure of life to swim for the moment. He animated, saturated, penetrated and embodied it with some little measure of vitality.
What is the meaning of that to you? The meaning of that is: God does not only give life to the dead, He can also give life to inanimate objects. May be you are struggling with a dead business, may be a part of your body is dead and needs life or what ever it is that is dead around your life, get set because God who made the axe head swim, is about to inject life into that area of your life or business that needs life.
Today I pray for you any thing belonging to you that has been drown or sank by the challenges of life, today they shall float back to you. Today any area of your life, business, Academics that has been dead may God inject life into it now in Jesus name. This year I pray that the God of all possibilities demonstrate His capacity to handle any impossibilities in your life and family in Jesus name. You are blessed... Good morning....
