The Mystery behind praying for others

Job 42:10 "And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before."
I see a mystery in this verse of the scripture. how can the captivity of Job be turned by praying for his friends, why not pray for himself? Some people may call it foolishness but I call it wisdom.
Question is what is the wisdom in or benefit of praying for others?
1. To pray for others is to invite God into your situation or any challenge confronting you vs 10 says "And God turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends "
2. Prayers for others positions you for a double portion blessing and restoration of lost things vs 10. Bible says "and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before"
Hear this: you are never at a disadvantage when you decides to be an intercessor, no wonder Abraham was blessed beyond measure because he was an intercessor.
My counsel is make up your mind today to pray for others such as family members, friends, pastors, leaders etc and you will experience a turn around.
I pray for you today in the name that is above every name, may God turn your mourning into dancing, every sorrow into joy and every challenge into victory. What ever thing the devil took from you, (may be your health, wealth, blessings, opportunities whatever it is,) today I prophesy Restoration, they are restored back in Jesus name.
