Psalm 23:2
"He leads me Beside quiet water"

This speaks of God's provision of constant opportunities for the spiritual thirst of men to be quenched.

Water speaks of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Remember the Samaritan woman asked Jesus to give her this water because Jesus had earlier told her;

"Whoever drinks of this water will again, but whoever drinks the water I will give him will never thirst. But the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life" John 4:10,13-14.

God creates a hunger and a thirst so He can fill us with His Spirit. Truth is; only the Holy Spirit can satisfy the longing of man's soul. Only the Holy Spirit can refresh us

Hear this: Truth without the blessing of the Holy Spirit is not sufficient to satisfy.

I pray for you in the name of Jesus in this season may God bring the refreshing water of the Holy Spirit to slake your spiritual thirst. May God by His Spirit refresh you this season and lead you beside quiet waters in the name of Jesus.
