LIVING IN UPRIGHTNESS.

Psalms 25:21 "Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee."

From the scripture above, we understand clearly that integrity and uprightness is a preserver of life and destiny. The meaning of that is, to live a life free of sin, a life with a clear conscience, devoid of offence before God is to last long on earth.

The truth of the matter is, if we desire and must fulfil our days and realize our destiny then uprightness and integrity must be our identity.

Question is, what are the benefits of uprightness?
1. Uprightness will keep you connected to God and sin will disconnect you you from His presence and glory. Isaiah 59:2 "...but your iniquities has separated you and your God... " And when you are disconnected from His presence you are vulnerable to destruction.

2. Uprightness gives you boldness before God, it grants you access to Faith and confidence but sin destroys faith and confidence in God. Proverbs 28:1 says "... The righteous are as bold as lion"

Hear this: anywhere faith/confidence and boldness is gone or absent, life is at risk

3. Uprightness renders prayer effective and sin on the other hand renders prayer ineffective. James 5:16 tells us that "... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much".

My counsel is that you pray this prayer with me: Oh God lead me into the land of uprightness and teach me to do thy will in Jesus name.

Today I pray for you that the righteousness of God be made manifest in you. In this season as you wait for God in uprightness and integrity, may your life be preserved and secure in Jesus name. You are blessed.... Good morning...
